Contact the editors

Tourism Bulgaria has one contact address, info@tourismbulgaria.com, and the form on this page. Both go to the editors. Use them to point out an error, ask about something we wrote, or enquire about advertising.

One address, one form

Write to info@tourismbulgaria.com or fill in the form at the bottom of this page. The form needs four things: the subject, your name, an email address for the reply, and your message. Optional fields ask which month and which part of Bulgaria your message is about, and where your information comes from.

There is no telephone line and no postal address. Answers are sent by email.

Reporting an error

An error report is easiest to act on when it lets us find the problem and check it in one step. Include:

Tell usFor example
The pageDriving and vignettes
The factThe weekly vignette price in the table
What you foundA different price at the point of sale
WhenThe date you saw it
Your evidenceA link to the official notice, or a photo of the receipt

A link to an official source settles most questions quickly. A report based on what you saw on your trip is still useful; we will look for confirmation before changing the page.

Asking about a page

If a page leaves you unsure, ask. We can say which source a figure came from, why a section shows two numbers, or what a rule means in practice for the general case. Repeated questions about the same passage tell us it needs rewriting, and we will rewrite it.

We cannot advise on your personal entry status, residency, or anything that depends on your nationality or circumstances; for those, the Bulgarian embassy in your country is the right place to ask.

Advertising enquiries

Select "Advertising enquiry" in the form. Advertisements appear only in boxes labelled "Advertisement", separate from the articles, and have no bearing on what the editors write. The full policy is on the about page.

Outside our scope

  • Bookings of any kind: tours, rooms, tickets, lift passes or vignettes.
  • Recommendations of companies, hotels, guides or ski schools.
  • Property, residency, work permits or tax.
  • Urgent help. In an emergency in Bulgaria, call 112; if you are in difficulty abroad, contact your embassy or consulate.

What happens after you press Send

Your message reaches the editors directly. Questions get an emailed answer when one is needed. Error reports are checked against a source first, so the fix on the page can come later than the reply. Once a correction is confirmed, the section's check date changes, and significant changes are entered in the corrections log on the about page.

If you send something outside our scope, we may not reply in detail, but we read it: it shows what readers need and helps decide what to cover next.

Your details

We use your name and email address only to deal with your message. We do not publish them, and a correction you send is credited to "a reader" unless you ask to be named. The privacy page sets out what the form stores and for how long.

Common questions

Questions readers ask

Is there a phone number?

No. Please use the form or email info@tourismbulgaria.com.

Can you check whether my passport is valid for Bulgaria?

No. The entry page explains the general rules; your passport authority or the Bulgarian embassy can advise on your case.

Will my name appear on the site?

Only if you ask. By default a correction is credited to "a reader".
